Year 6 PGL
On Monday 15th May, year 6 travelled to Shropshire for their five day residential trip with PGL. On route to Shropshire, we visited the RAF Museum in Cosford. The children were able to explore the hangars and see the different RAF aircrafts used in WW2. The children enjoyed seeing the Spitfire planes that were used in the Battle of Britain (which they have been studying in school). We also had a 4D experience of flying with the Red Arrows.
The children enjoyed challenging themselves and conquering their fears in activities such as: high ropes, trapeze and rock climbing.
We were lucky to have good weather and enjoyed canoeing in the lake, as well as archery, fencing and completing the challenge course.
