For English we have been studying the book Max by Bob Graham. Max is a superhero who learns to fly saving a bird. The children had many English tasks linked to this text including writing a postcard as Max to his nan.

For science we have been identifying different materials. We have had various tasks to learn about the qualities and properties of materials and we discovered that a lot of plastic is polluting our world and endangering our sea animals. So we decided to make posters to warn people of this type of pollution.

In citizenship we encouraged the children to use recycled materials to make instruments. The children encouraged their siblings to join in this task and we have had a zoom band with all our instruments that we are thinking of a name for.
