Character & Setting focus weeks

Teachers chose their favourite fairy tales to read to the children to end our Character and Setting focus weeks. We spent the afternoon enjoying reading with each other. 

Some year 6 pupils visited East Ham Library to take part in the Creative Thinkers workshop. They used poetry and illustrations to explore their creative ideas.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Jolly Postman by Allen Ahlberg a real life Royal Mail postman came to visit the school and read with the children. They listened to the story and asked the postman questions about his job and how he helps the community.
