Visit to West Ham Park
Year 1 and 6 pupils completed fieldwork in West Ham Park using self-made compasses. They enjoyed collecting specific leaves which would act as a boat for their magnetised paper clip.
The children used their compasses to observe their local area. Using a colour wheel, they collected natural resources following simple compass directions.
