The Greater London Authority (GLA)

Year 5 visited the Greater London Authority (GLA) as part of Citizenship Week. The children focussed on the Mayor of London’s role and how he has an impact on our city. Year 5 were fortunate enough to see the Mayor, Sadiq Khan and he give us a wave which was very exciting. We had a tour of the building and we were all very impressed with the view of London from the balcony at the top. If you were afraid of heights it was a little scary!
We learnt about the history of London and had an insight of future plans.
