Natural History Museum - Year 5
We worked in small teams to design and build a LEGO Martian rover. We had to code, test and evaluate our designs before seeing how our rovers perform on a realistic Martian surface.
We discovered the importance of space exploration and why using models such as LEGO is important for engineers.
We followed a basic prototype to build a rover, which we will then learnt to code using LEGO WeDo 2.0 robotic sets. In an exciting finale we were able to see how our rovers perform on a large scale Martian surface.
