Year 4 visit to the Cartoon Museum

The year 4 pupils visited the museum where they saw caricatures of famous people like Queen Elizabeth as well as cartoon drawings such as Wallace and Gromit.

They then had a drawing session with an artist in which they drew Batman and Wonder woman, using shapes to facilitate the process. Finally they drew two caricatures: Boris Johnson and Donald Trump.

In the workshop the pupils learnt different types of ways of drawing facial features like eyes, noses, mouths and the mistakes that we should avoid.
