We have been exceptionally blessed to be reminded of the meaning of Christmas by the children throughout the school.
On 30th November, the choir went to Rathbone Market to sing for the switching on of the Christmas tree lights.
Pre-school and nursery began to understand the story of the nativity on 8th December.
On 11th December Reception and Key Stage 1 the children performed with joy and enthusiasm.
On 13th December Years 3 and 4 pieced together the meaning of the Christmas jigsaw with great feeling.
Finally on 15th December Years 5 and 6 reflected on the true meaning of Christmas.
The children have enjoyed the spirit of Christmas with performing for others. The choir sang for parishioners at St Margaret’s.
Pre-school children were very lucky and were able to visit Santa in his grotto.
The Christmas disco was an amazing success with great dancing. We raised over £850 for school funds.
